As I gave some initial thought to what I should write about, my first reaction was to write about sushi (my favorite food) but then I realized that I was just hungry. After giving it some more thought, I realized that it would be important for me to share a foundational perspective that is needed in order to properly understand how God feels about you and me.
You see, if we are going to make a genuine effort to discover and live the amazing lives God has in store for us, we need to know that God can be trusted and has our best interests in mind. Think about it. If God doesn’t like us or is indifferent toward us, we are not going to be all that interested in what He has to say. The good news, though, is that God actually likes us.
